Resimercial Design

The "resimercial" design trend is revolutionizing workplaces by blending the comfort of home with the functionality of a commercial office, creating spaces that are both inviting and productive. This approach incorporates soft furnishings, warm lighting, and cozy textures to make employees feel at ease while supporting collaboration and flexibility. As Unisource Solutions designer Stephanie Dziobecki explains, "I am a big fan of the term/trend 'Resimercial' – making the workplace feel more like home to tie in the hybrid work schedule and also inspire people to be in the office more. Stepping away from standard corporate office setups and creating more inviting, comforting zones to work in." By prioritizing employee well-being and embracing hybrid work models, resimercial design transforms offices into spaces where people genuinely want to spend their time.

Smart Technology

Smart technology is now a must-have in modern office design, seamlessly integrating advanced tools to boost efficiency, adaptability, and sustainability. As Unisource Solutions designer Esther Cho observes, "I've noticed that smart tech is becoming a must in office design. IoT devices, automated lighting, and climate control systems are being added to workspaces. These upgrades help improve comfort and productivity by adjusting the environment to fit employees' needs on the spot." From AI-powered meeting rooms to smart desks, these innovations create responsive, user-focused workplaces that adapt to the evolving needs of today's workforce

Jewel Tones and Moody Materials

Jewel tones and moody materials are redefining workplace aesthetics by introducing a sense of sophistication and depth to interior design. These rich, vibrant colors and textured finishes create a warm, inviting atmosphere while making bold visual statements. By incorporating elements like emerald greens, deep blues, and plush velvets, workplaces achieve a balance between elegance and modernity, fostering both focus and creativity.

Quiet Rooms

The growing trend of incorporating quiet or respite rooms in workspaces highlights the importance of employee well-being and focus. These spaces often feature advanced acoustic applications designed to minimize noise, creating a calm environment conducive to relaxation or concentrated work. By integrating such areas, businesses foster a supportive workplace that prioritizes mental health and productivity.
